Zachary Q. Posey, M.D.

Dr. Posey grew up in the Seattle area. He is a 2002 graduate of Syracuse University where he majored in Biochemistry and was a four-year member of the varsity swim team. Dr. Posey received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI in 2006. He recently completed his surgical training at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. His training included an internship in general surgery and a residency in urologic surgery (2006-2011).
Dr. Posey’s urologic training spanned the breath of urologic practice with an emphasis on minimally invasive and robotic procedures. Dr. Posey has published papers on a variety of urologic topics and presented his findings at national meetings. Dr. Posey joined Alaska Urological Institute in 2011. He moved to Anchorage with his wife, who was born and raised in Alaska, and two children. They look forward to exploring the area and establishing roots in the Anchorage community. |
